The name “SMEG” is actually abbreviation and stands for “Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla” – with other words, a metal enamel factory from the region Emilia Romagna, in the town of Guastalla. Its designer kitchen appliances are known for the seamless fusion of design and technology. SMEG also has its own factories, located in Italy. SMEG is the perfect expression of “Made in Italy,” where design and quality come together with much attention to detail.
