Feel at Home event: a fun night of networking and information gathering

Do you want to get involved in the various international communities in The Hague or are you just curious to meet other internationals? Our Feel at Home event is a great way to meet and mingle! 

Whether you are a newcomer or a have lived in The Hague for a while, our Feel at Home event is a great way to find answers to all your practical questions about living in The Hague region! Questions such as: How to secure a mortgage? Where to find a job or volunteer work? How to find a school or childcare that fits your needs? And much more! Join us at the monumental building De Boterwaag for an informative fair and explore various information booths, enjoy live music, ask questions and meet fellow internationals during an interactive social game! You will also be able to meet with a panel of experts to provide you with helpful information on a wide range of topics such as housing, education, taxes, healthcare, social clubs, international communities and more.

The Hague International Centre is your guide to live, work and study in The Hague region. We support international newcomers and employers to make you feel welcome in our region. The Hague International Centre offers free advice, events and services to help you move and settle into The Hague region – from registration, immigration, finding a job, housing or local sport, to social and community clubs. We are part of the municipality of The Hague. All of our services are free of charge.

What do we do? 
The Hague International Centre offers free advice and services to help you move and settle into The Hague region. We:

  • Help take care of government formalities with a one-stop-shop service for highly skilled migrants, diplomats, scientific researchers, graduates, start-ups and their family members, including:
  • Registerings with the municipality (The Hague, Delft, Rijswijk, or Leidschendam-Voorburg)
  • Arrange a citizen service number (BSN)
  • Collect residence and work documents via the IND
  • Offer free information and advice about living, working and studying:
  • Helpdesk for your questions
  • Welcome guides
  • Online updates and information via website, social media and newsletters
  • Year-round events: welcome events, relocation webinars, thematic webinars and Feel at Home events
