Discover ARTZUID 2025: enlightenment in sculpture

ARTZUID Nachhut 2010

From 21 May to 21 September, the green boulevards of Amsterdam Zuid will transform into an open-air museum during the ninth edition of the Amsterdam Sculpture Biennale ARTZUID 2025. This year’s theme, Enlightenment, celebrates Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary and its spirit of freedom, tolerance and innovation.

Curated by renowned art historian Ralph Keuning, the exhibition features more than 60 striking sculptures and installations by internationally acclaimed artists such as Alicja Kwade, Leiko Ikemura, Tschabalala Self, Neo Rauch, and Atelier van Lieshout. The artworks span from abstract and architectural to figurative and thought-provoking, inviting visitors to reflect on the human condition, history and our collective future.

Set along the iconic Apollolaan, Minervalaan and Zuidas, ARTZUID is free to visit and offers a unique cultural experience for locals, tourists, and especially expats seeking to connect with the creative heart of the city.

Whether you’re seeking a sensory escape, an intellectual journey, or simply a beautiful walk among world-class art, ARTZUID 2025 promises an inspiring summer.
